When I stepped into semi-retirement I packed lots of boxes of books, documents, materials, notes, scores and music (that belonged to me) and flash drives full of files and recordings.  It became obvious that I keep almost everything!  Ugh!  Over the past year I have sorted through most, not all.  Storage is an issue so I started scanning and storing electronically.  Then my ego got in the way..."rather than leaving this for my daughter to throw out at some point I'll create a web site where other BDs can find and use.  Because all of this is really important!!!"  Ha!  So, here are things that I have written, created or borrowed from 40+ years of teaching.  If borrowed I have referenced the author and/or source.  On the Music Education page you will find Articles that I have written for Missouri Music Educators Association, Advocacy documents, presentations and links.  Instrumental Resources is a collection of stuff that I have used through the years and under Professional Development are topics that I have been asked to prepare and may be of interest in the future.  You will also find suggested Clinic topics and my thoughts on New Teacher Resources.  On the Conducting page is a list of compositions and charts that "worked for me," and Rehearsal Notes on pieces that I have conducted.  These notes include recommended recordings, additional resources and my ideas on interpretation.  This page also includes a list of Recordings that I have been honored to be a part of.

It is my hope that perhaps you might find somthing that will supplement your teaching, be of interest or support your program.  Feel free to download and use before it ends up in the recyle dump or is deleted!  I am happy to discuss if you have questions.  This is a start, I will continued to add to this site over the course of the next couple years.  Thanks for visiting!!
